Myrtle Whitted, 83, died Friday afternoon in Parkview Nursing Center where she
lived for several years. Born in Wilkinson she came to Muncie in early 1970s.
Before that she was the owner and operator of a bakery in Crawfordsville. She
was a member of the Reorganized Church of the Latter Day Saints. Surviving are
a son, Robert Lee Whitted, Cicero; two daughters, Judith Ann (John) Hardesty,
Georgia and Bertha (Harry) Davis, Muncie; several grandchildren and several
great grandchildren. Her husband, Robert William Whitted, died in 1989.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Forest Hills Cemetery,
Greencastlw with Rev. J. Edward Pease officiating. There will be no calling
hours. Parson Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
